形態特徵

• Perennial herbs; stems slightly woody at base, ascending or suberect, sparsely puberulent, glabrescent.
• Leaves chartaceous, slightly hirsute, narrowly oblong, narrowly elliptic to elliptic, 4-16 cm long, 2-6.5 cm wide, basiscopic half acute to semicordate, margins ciliolate, serrate, apex abruptly caudate, ciliolate and sparsely 1-5-serrulate; stipules 2, glabrous above, hirsute beneath, 1-nerved stipules lanceolate-cymbiform, 2-nerved stipules obliquely triangular-lanceolate.
• Inflorescences very thin discoid, somewhat butterfly-shaped, sessile or subsessile; bracts connate, forming an unlobed, narrowly oblong to oblong involucre to 10 mm long, 4 mm wide. Female flowers short pedicellate; bracteoles narrowly oblong, puberulent beneath; sepals 3, free; staminodes 3; stigma penicillate; ovary slightly compressed, ovoid-ellipsoidal.
• Achenes ellipsoid, 6-ribbed.

Flowering February to July.

分布

• 台灣 : Medium altitudes, mostly in ravines, rare on moist forest floors near ravines.
